Phd and Doctorate Programmes

The main form of training highly qualified specialists is Postgraduate and Doctoral studies. The Department of postgraduate and doctoral studies, a structural subdivision of the state higher educational institution 'Uzhhorod National University', works according to the Regulations on scientific-pedagogical and scientific personnel approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 01.03.1999, № 309. Postgraduate training profile corresponds to the priorities of scientific activity of the University, and covers all fields of research in which the University trains specialists in accordance with relevant educational and qualification standards. While working out plans for the training of the teaching staff, our structural subdivision tries to meet the demands of the departments for specialists with a PhD or Doctorate degree, taking into account the perspective development of respective areas of study and the existing structure of departments.
